Glass & Glazing
-
Yes. In many cases, the sealed glass unit can be replaced without changing the full window or door frame, making it a more cost-effective and less disruptive option.
-
Common signs include misting or condensation trapped between the panes, visible cracks or impact damage, and noticeable heat loss or draughts even when the window is shut.
-
Yes. If the sealed unit has failed and moisture has built up between the panes, we can replace the glass unit to restore a clear appearance and improve insulation.
-
With double glazing, the unit is normally replaced as a complete sealed unit rather than as a single pane. This helps maintain the correct insulation performance and overall integrity of the glass.
-
Yes. We replace double glazed glass in a range of doors, including uPVC doors, aluminium doors, patio doors, French doors, and composite doors.
-
Yes. We can supply and fit toughened, laminated, and obscure glass, depending on the level of safety, privacy, or specification required.
-
Yes. Our replacement double glazed units come with a 5-year guarantee against condensation forming inside the sealed unit.
-
Once measurements have been taken, the new unit is sent for manufacture, which usually takes around 3 to 5 working days, although specialist orders can take longer. The fitting itself is often quite quick and typically takes around 10 minutes to 1 hour per unit, depending on the size and setup. In most cases, we aim to complete the replacement within one week of the order being confirmed.

Many standard repairs can be completed within around an hour per window. If the job involves made-to-measure glass, extra time is usually needed for manufacturing before installation.

How Our Services Works
-
Yes. We provide a free, no-obligation quote based on the details of the issue. If the problem needs to be seen in person before pricing can be confirmed, we can arrange a visit.
-
To price the job as accurately as possible, we may ask for a brief description of the fault, along with photos or videos, the number of windows or doors affected, and your location. This helps us assess the issue before arranging the next step.
-
We aim to respond quickly and can often offer same-day or next-day availability, depending on location, workload, and the type of repair needed.
-
Our technician will first assess the issue, confirm what is required, and go over the repair details with you. Where possible, the work will be completed there and then. Before leaving, we check that everything is operating correctly.
-
We work on a no fix, no fee basis. If the repair cannot be carried out, you will not be charged for the job.
